Cardinal Family Reunion
How many cardinals can you find in this (admittedly not terribly good) picture? It may help to note that every bird that is visible is, I believe, a cardinal (male or female).
The cardinals seem to all come at once to the feeder-- when they were all out there, I could not see any other birds in the vicinity, until I heard the raucous call of a bluejay, who promptly put the redbirds to flight while he ate.
Oh, how I love the snow!

I count 10... I love seeing the cardinals just after it has snowed. The males are so bright.
Gosh, can we come over and eat some of your cardinals? JM and JM
Well, JeMa&JeMa, if you'll first allow yourselves to be introduced (i.e. sniffed by) the canine members of the Menagerie, we might just have ourselves a deal....

it looks a lot like st. paul today! it's been snowing since midnight Wednesday morning and looks to continue through to tomorrow!
I counted nine but didn't try as hard as p&m. By the way, that was the real JeMa&JeMa, not me...as Daniela thought.
10. Lucky birds. What will they eat while you are gone? Mami
