Hardest Workin' Man in Show Business
Here's a short video clip (courtesy of my snazzy cell phone) from the James Brown concert we went to last week-- the light was too low for you to be able to see the Godfather himself (in his shiny red outfit), but you can certainly hear him.... Hope the video works-- my previous source for uploading videos is on the fritz, so this is a new site I'm using..

Very impressed with the camera phone! The movie worked fine on the iMac, tiny but the audio was cool! Let me know if you want me to show you how to embed the video in the blog post...I just figured it out. I read an article in the IDS about the James Brown show--they said the audience was split between older and younger viewers, and the older audience was very annoyed that the younger viewers kept standing...
Huh, I guess we would count as the older crowd, perhaps. And we stood and danced for much of the show. Not sure how you couldn't stand up and clap at the very least. Lots of people did sit down for the more slow songs. But we had a fab time, overall!
