Biggest zucchini ever?
We're just back from Maine (photos to come) and we found this ENORMOUS zucchini in our garden. It's just massive! Gigglygirl (aka my friend Jenny) didn't notice it until Thursday by which time it was already huge and she decided it would be fun for us to see it!
Here it is next to the normal-sized zucchini from our CSA box (but doesn't that one look rather wimpy now?),

that ginormous! (did you hear that this is a newly accepted dictionary word?! - oh boy) we used to get enormous zucchini like that when my bro and i were growing up - we used to used them as bats against each other until they disintegrated because they tasted horrible compared to the little ones! how did this one taste?
yeah, we are thinking it won't taste very good so we probably won't eat it. using as a bat sounds about right...
