Paestum

Okay, okay, I know. You probably don't want to see any more ruins. But that's just TOO BAD! The ruins Paestum (Greek name: Poseidonia) are ancient Greek (Magna Graecia) though, although the Lucanians (native Italians) and the Romans took over the Greek colony over time. This is one of the best preserved ancient Greek temples in the world.

the Temple of Neptune,

Ancient Greek tomb painting (perhaps the ONLY ancient Greek painting known to us!) at the museum at Paestum (museum was very nice. There is an inverse relationship between size of archeological site and the quality of the museum in terms of interpretation, display, etc),
