Only one thing missing

The nursery is just about all set. Only one piece is missing, and we expect that to arrive any time in the next few weeks. But in the meantime, we wanted to show what the baby's room will look like.

Here's the rocking chair (found at an antique store in downtown St. Paul). You can see the two main paint colors in the room as well-- red and a neutral beige/taupe.

Here is the changing table and dresser, found at the same antique store, with a changing pad attached to the top....

It's hard to take a picture of the curtains when there's light streaming in the window, but we tried...

Here's a closeup of the curtains (from Ikea!):

Now on to the other side of the room, where we have the crib, with cool metal mobile above, and also the jutting section of the ceiling painted orange....

And next to the crib is the bookcase/cubby:

A closeup of the carpet, from Flor: (Lucy insisted on getting in the picture, too)

This is our beautiful Moses basket (aka bassinet), which the baby's Omi (aka Mamita) got:

It is sitting in the cradle attachment, a gift from the baby's Grandma and Papa.

The rocker's pretty comfortable for Eric, too!

I love the room so much! It looks so nice, and I love the orange on the ceiling and the curtains. And the bassinet. And the crib. And the mobile. And most especially the wonderful print with koalas on the wall.

I'm so excited for you guys! Can't wait to hear the news of the baby's arrival!

I've just realized that I'm barefoot & pregnant in that photo. Oh well, at least I'm not in the kitchen... :)
