More pictures
Internet connection seems to be working a bit better today, and we've received some pictures from Daniela's mom and from our wonderful doula, Rebecca. At some point today, I will be stopping by the house (to get the carseat ready to go for when we leave the hospital sometime tomorrow!), so I plan to pick up the computer cable and get a few more pics uploaded.
So keep checking! Also, I have a bunch of pictures already up on Facebook-- if you're not already on Facebook, you should consider signing up. It's really useful and not just for "the kids" any more...
Here's Thalia with her Omi.
And meeting her Tio Roberto, who brought gifts and a beautiful poem he wrote in her honor:
A very tired looking Dad, watching baseball with his daughter (hopefully next year we'll be watching the Twins in the playoffs!):
And one picture from Thalia's birth, taken by our doula. This is seconds after Thalia was born-- Daniela lifted her out of her body, and she was immediately put on her chest, while nurses towelled her off a bit. I was sobbing rather hysterically at this point.

She is absolutely beautiful. I am following the blog carefully. I can't wait to tell Zubin when I see him this afternoon (he's been at his dad's this weekend). Lots and lots of love to you all.

Sweetest moment when she's on your chest!
Congratulations from the McCornacks! What a beauty! And I LOVE her name! 48 hours of labor?! Girl, you deserve a medal. I had a marathon labor with Jackson - started on a Friday, had him on Sunday. Argh. I enjoyed looking at your blog. If you are still looking for cloth diapers, check out this blog. www.lemmondrops.blogspot.com
She lives in St. Paul and is selling her newborn cloth diapers.
Hope Nia has been going well. We sure miss having a class and would really love to be able to take one.
Get some sleep and enjoy your new baby!
Congratulations, Mom & Dad & baby Thalia! We're at Sewanee and checked our e-mail to find out the great news. Appropriate to be here and be able to give thanks for the birth of your precious, baby girl. Can't wait to see her in person when you all find your way to CT sometime.
We love you & are so excited for all of you!
